Shanghai Auto Show is the first presentation of this strategy, in which Six-model New Cars are on show, so as to create a tendency for coming into the market of Six-model New Cars. It is described that Geely will have 4 Brand-New models and 4 Models Modified models, and the layout of New Geely has emerged with the launch of Six-model New Cars.



Two-compartment model developed on same platform will be matched with first Turbo Charge Engine independently developed by Geely so as to realize large energy by small displacement; in addition, the concept of small body with big space can be realized by combining exclusive hatchback structure with internationally fashionable split ratio of the space between front and rear row . It is understood that Series GC5 will become leading model of Geely’s economy car in the future.


As for the first-model Class C Car of Geely, its fashionable appearance design will lift the image of Geely into international mainstream car enterprise level; as the first-model car towards high level product, the luxury and fashion have been presented in each particular aspect of the car. Geely will adopt independently developed Engine 2.4D-CVVT with big displacement, that is, Double VVT Technology.

This model has super size and space, and possesses luxurious comfort of the sedan, trafficability of SUV, multi-functionality of MPV and Standard 7-Seat Design so as to ensure it available for 7 adults, in addition, its driving space can favorably compares with MPV’s, and it has Engine 4G24 with strong power and can select energy-saving and clean Diesel Engine 4D20.

When global auto market suffers cold wave for financial crisis, Geely has not only effectively prevented negative impact from financial crisis, but keeps steady, healthy and rapid development step. In the first quarter, Geely has sold more than 60,000 and realized 26 % of whole year’s target, and such performance has renewed the record of the enterprise. In 2008, Geely Auto has realized net profit increase of 191%, which hits the highest performance among global auto enterprises.
