"Splendid Sixty Years – Progress Exhibition of 60^th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China” was unveiled in Beijing Exhibition Center on 19^th, September. Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, one of first companies awarded as national "Innovative Enterprises”, attended this exhibition along with its independently researched and developed 7DCT automatic transmission.

It is reported, the Progress Exhibition showcased systemically China’s grand history of all ethic groups exploring socialist road with Chinese characteristics unremittingly under leadership of CCP since New China’s founding in 1949, especially since the reform and opening-up. The display covered all great progresses in economic, political, cultural, social and Party constructions, while it also prospected the bright future of building moderate prosperity society in all aspects by 2020 and realizing modernization basically by the mid of this century. President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao as well as other Party and government leaders, such as Jiang Zemin, Wu Bangguo, Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang, and Zhou Yongkang etc., presented the Exhibition. 

The Exhibition was opened to the public on 20^th of September, when the visitors came to and fro in constant streams. At the day, the Exhibition Center was filled with grand music, which made all people there feel proud and pride for our country. As one of first companies awarded as national “Innovative Enterprises”, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, under good care of government and Party leaders and with strong support of the governments at all levels, has developed rapidly since it entered into automobile market. It obtained great achievements especially on independent research and development. Geely self-developed and industrialized series Z automatic transmissions have filled a gap in the field of domestic automobiles, and won the First Price of Scientific and Technological Progress in Chinese Automobile Industry in 2006. What Geely showed on this Exhibition is its self-developed 7DCT automatic transmission with dual-clutch and seven drive gears, which is superior in efficient and continuous power output, compact design, wide speed range and extensive usage. 

It is also learnt that the Progress Exhibition were divided into four sections such as Introductory Exhibition, Comprehensive Exhibition, Thematic Exhibition and Prospect Exhibition. The Introductory Exhibition included 2 units: General Induction and Grand History, the Comprehensive Exhibition was divided into 5 units: economic construction, political construction, culture construction, society construction and party construction, while the Thematic Exhibition was divided into 12 units: agriculture, industry, infrastructure, science & education, culture, human/health/social insurance, reform & opening-up, resource & environment, ethnic minority, national defense, one country two systems and diplomacy. The Exhibition will run until 20^th, October.
