On Jan 15, 2010, the launching ceremony of Geely CKD assembly line was held in Черкесс（capital city ofKaracajecvo-Cerkesijia）. As another important step in Geely’s journey of going-global, the successful launch will pave the way for Geely to realize the goal of annual exporting volume of 100,000 units to Russia in 3 years and the million level exporting in future.

The national president and the mayor as well as Mr. Yang Jian (CEO of Geely) and other Geely’s high level leaders attended the ceremony and made wonderful speeches.

In 2009, against the backdrop of global slowdown, sales volume of Geely in Russia is raised by 103% compared with that of the year before. The MK model launched in Russia this time enjoys mature technology applications. MK is well received by Chinese customers for its styling appearance, quiet and comfortable interior design and economical fuel consumption. Geely hopes Mk can also win the favor of Russian consumers and conduce to the following exports.

It is learnt Geely is and will continue introducing new tailor-made Geely vehicles to Russian market and at the same time facilitate the Geely’s local manufacturing bases building. This will not only strengthen the good partnership of the two sides also benefit the prosperous development of automobile industry of the two countries.
