By 2015, Geely Automotive will own complete vehicles in 15 series and 42 models considering both left hand drive and right hand drive, and meeting the laws and regulations as well as consumption customs; have 8 series of engines, 7 series of MT manual and automatic transmissions, and 3 types of ECVT continuously variable transmission; carry out hybrid power cars R&D and Geely formula racecar project. By 2015, it will establish 15 overseas production bases, and achieve the goal of producing and selling 2 million vehicles with 2/3 as export, so that Geely automobile becomes a competitive brand in the world.
In Jun. 2007, Geely Group started its strategic transformation, trying to complete the strategic transformation from pure low-cost strategy to high-technology, high-quality, high-efficiency and international strategy within 3-5 years.
