    吉利控股集团向全球范围征集新车标的公告   [english]   

     “造老百姓买得起的好车,让吉利汽车走遍全世界!”

 一、征集新车标活动的缘起:
  鉴于当前吉利控股集团造车技术突飞猛进,品质不断提升,新车型源源而出,同时,面对的汽车市场已风云变幻,目标消费者的审美观、价值观也已不断发展变化,需要我们对吉利集团使用多年的车标进行重新审视。2008年北京奥运会开幕之际,恰逢吉利造车十周年,值此良机,为总结吉利的发展历程,继承吉利的优良传统,弘扬吉利的企业精神,并展望吉利未来光辉远景,迎接新的挑战,齐心协力,打造中华民族百年汽车基业,我们特向全球征集吉利控股集团新的车标。
二、新车标的设计要求:
1、属  性 ――能体现吉利控股集团的企业理念和企业精神,能诠释吉利控股集团打造中华民族百年汽车基业的愿景,特别是能折射吉利汽车的品质、技术和工艺水平。
2、标识性 ――个性鲜明易于记忆,体现吉利造车特色,并与现有车标有一定继承性。
3、艺术性 ――简洁明快,既深刻又通俗,符合吉利未来的发展要求,具有新时代全球性的审美观。
4、实用性 ――简约而不失品位,便于运用各种工艺手段生产和制作。
三、奖项设置:
项目设总奖金、奖品的价值约360万元人民币。
为鼓励全球创意设计人员的积极性,项目对参评的作品设以下奖项: 
 大师奖:1件,金质奖章一枚,奖金2000,000元人民币,颁发证书。 
 吉利奖:10件,银质奖章各一枚,各奖吉利远景轿车一辆,颁发证书。 
 入围奖:100件,铜质奖章各一枚,精美纪念品各一份及购车补贴券各5000元,颁发证书。
为调动全球消费者参与本项目的积极性,项目还设慧眼奖: 
 慧眼奖:300名,精美纪念品一份,颁发证书。
以上“作品”特指车标的识别系统设计(包括VI手册),而非单一的一个图标或标志。以上奖金及奖品个人所得税自理。
四、注意事项:
1、应征人参加本次新车标征集活动前,已对本公告的所有条款进行了充分的了解,并愿意受本公告及本次征集活动的其他规则的约束。
2、应征人必须保证应征作品为其首创,并未抄袭或模仿他人创意。否则由此产生的一切法律后果均由应征人承担。因应征人与他人的争议给浙江吉利控股集团有限公司造成损失的,应征人应当赔偿损失。
3、应征人同意新车标征集人对其作品的改动。
4、应征人同意,应征作品一旦入围或者中标,由其产生的各类知识产权及各类收益均归浙江吉利控股集团有限公司所有,应征人除可获得规定的奖励外,仅可保留署名权。
五、评选方式:
评选的一般流程如下:
1、初选:征稿期间每天一次,由项目小组执行,将来稿在第一时间确定是否进入大众评选。
2、大众评选:
网络互动:开通吉利集团网(主要门户网等其他网站专栏将陆续开通)设立评选专区,电视台及投票通道;
电视互动:选择中央电视台或有影响力的地方卫视相关节目开展;
短信互动:结合以上方式适当开通短信投票通道。
3、专家评选:以大众评选结果为基础,评审委员会经研讨、评判和商定等阶段,进入最终表决,以民主方式产生评选结果,但遇评审委员会意见不一、争议较大的情况,将实行评审委员会主任一票决定制。
六、投稿方式:
我们从2007年1月9日开始接受投稿,投稿最后截止日期为2007年8月7日(以我方实际收到日期为准),我们接受投稿的方式为邮寄(建议使用挂号邮件、邮政快递等):
1、投稿要求:来稿要求使用专业设计软件设计(PHOTOSHOP、ILLUSTRATOR、CORELDRAW、3DMAX等),电子文档资料和彩色、黑白打印稿各一份。
2、征集稿中须提供的材料:
单位来件:

  1. 单位营业执照、法人代码证复印件。
  2. 单位法定代表人身份证或其它有效证件复印件;
  3. 法人授权委托书原件、受委托人(应征人)身份证或其它有效证件复印件;
  4. 作品:电子资料一份,黑白、彩色设计图各一式两份,设计说明一份。
  5. 单位简介、联系方式、经典设计作品案例。

团体(两人及两人以上):

  1. 每位应征人的身份证或其它有效证件复印件,所有参赛者签署的共同参赛申明。
  2. 作品:电子资料一份,黑白、彩色设计图各一式两份,设计说明一份。
  3. 每位应征人简介、联系方式。

个人:

  1. 应征人的身份证或其它有效证件复印件。
  2. 作品:电子资料一份,黑白、彩色设计图各一式两份,设计说明一份。
  3. 应征人简介、联系方式。

作品特指车标的识别系统设计(包括VI手册),而非单一的一个图标或标志。但考虑到完成VI手册等工作量较大,允许设计者分两部分投稿,但第一部分稿件必须包括车标主标识设计,第二部分投稿时间不得超过最终截稿时间。

Notice Regarding Geely Holding Group Recruiting New

Vehicle Logo Worldwide

Manufacture high-quality vehicles that common people can afford,  let Geely automobiles spread all over the world!

1. Reasons for recruiting new vehicle logo:

 In view of the manufacturing technology for cars in Geely Holding Group has advanced rapidly with quality been improved continuously and new models of vehicle keep pouring out. Meanwhile, with vehicle market’s random change, consumers’ taste and value are persistently developing. We need to review Geely’s vehicle logo used for years. On the occasion of 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing when it’s Geely’s 10th anniversary, we proceed with recruiting new vehicle logo for Geely Group worldwide for the sake of summarizing its developing course, inheriting good tradition, carrying forward enterprise spirit, looking to bright future, meeting new challenge and building up enduring foundation of China’s automobile development.

2. Designing requirements for new logo
(1) Properties-It reflects Geely’s concept and spirit, presents its vision of building up enduring foundation of China’s vehicle development especially Geely automobile’s quality, technology and craftwork.
(2) Identification-brilliant personality, easy to remember, embodying Geely automobile’s characteristics with certain inheritance of current logo.
(3) Artistic quality-concise and bright, profound and exoteric, meeting developing requirements of Geely’s future with global taste for new times.
(4) Practicability-brief with good taste, convenient for application of various craftwork production and manufacture.
3. Awards:
 It has bonus and prizes totally worth about RMB 3.6 million
It’s also with the following prizes for participant works in order to encourage enthusiasm of global designers.
Master Prize: Quota for 1, a gold medal, RMB 2000,000 as well as certificate.
Geely Prize: Quota for 10, a silver medal each with a Geely Vision car as well as certificate.
Candidate Prize: Quota for 100, a copper medal each with an exquisite souvenir and allowance coupon of 5000 yuan for vehicle purchase as well as certificate.
In the interest of promote global consumers’ enthusiasm to participate in this campaign; it has also set Recommendation Prize.
Recommendation Prize: Quota for 300, an exquisite souvenir each with certificate.
All the “works” refer to identification system design of vehicle logo (including VI handbook), not just a single logo or symbol. The individual is in charge of his/her Personal Income Tax for bonus and prizes above himself/herself.
4. Notes:
(1) Participants should fully learn all the rules relevant to this notice, and are willing to comply with other regulations of this notice and recruiting activity before their participation.
(2) Participants must promise their works are original, not pirated or imitated. Otherwise, participants should bear all the legal responsibility arising therefrom and also the compensation for Zhejiang Geely Holding Group’s loss on account of participant’ dispute with others.
(3) Participants should agree that the new logo recruiters alternate their works.
(4) Participants should agree that once their works have been selected as candidate ones or they have won the bid, all the intelligence property right and income arising therefrom belong to Zhejiang Geely Group Holding Co., Ltd. Participants can only reserve the right of authorship besides the stipulated awards.
5. Evaluation Methods:
The general process of evaluation is as follows:
(1) Primary election: once during recruitment, performed by program team through confirming whether the participant work can come to public evaluation.
(2) Public evaluation:
Network interaction: launch Geely Group website (other website column including main portal websites will be launched in succession), establish evaluation area, TV station and poll channel;
Television interaction: perform in CCTV or influential local TV programs.
Message interaction: properly launch poll channel for text message combined with the methods above.
(3) Experts evaluation: based on public evaluation results. The evaluation committee will proceed with discussion, assessment and confirmation, and eventually come to the final decision with democratic evaluation results. And it will depend on the vote of evaluation committee’s director when the committee members have disputes.
6. Contribution Methods
We start to receive contributions from Jan 9, 2007 with the deadline of Aug 7, 2007 (subject to the real date when we receive it). The method is by mail (suggest using registered mail, express delivery etc);
(1) Contributes requirements: contributes are required with professional design software (e.g. PHOTOSHOP、ILLUSTRATOR、CORELDRAW、3DMAX etc), electronic document material, a copy of each color and black & white printed manuscripts for each.
(2) The references need to provide in contributions:
Contributions from unit:

  1. Copies of the unit’s business license and legal person’s code certificate.
  2. Copies of the unit’s legal representative’s ID and other valid certificates;
  3. The original legal person’s consignment authorization and copies of consignee (participant)’s ID and other valid certificates;
  4. Works: a copy of electronic material, black and white and color design charts in duplicate each as well as a copy of design direction.
  5. Unit introduction, contacts and classic designed cases.

Organization (Two or more than two persons):

  1. Copies of participants’ ID and other valid certificates, and common competition declaration signed by all the participants.
  2. Works: a copy of electronic material, black and white and color design charts in duplicate each as well as a copy of design direction.
  3. Introduction and contacts method of each participant.

Individual:

  1. Copies of participants’ ID or other valid certificates.
  2. Works: a copy of electronic material, black and white and color design charts in duplicate each as well as a copy of design direction.
  3. Introduction and contacts of each participant.

The works refer to identification system design of vehicle logo (including VI handbook), not just a single logo or symbol. Concerning the large workload of completing VI handbook, it’s allowed for designers to separate contributions as two parts. But the first part must embody main identification design of vehicle logo, and the second one’s time for contributing cannot exceed the deadline.
