This move highlights Geely Auto's commitment to deliver reliable, eco-friendly, and technologically advanced mobility solutions to Greek customers.

The Athens launch event welcomed over 100 distinguished guests, including representatives from Geo Mobility Hellas, Geely's exclusive distributor in Greece; HELLENiQ Energy, Greece's largest energy group; Alpha Bank, a leading financial institution; Public Power Corporation (PPC), a major player in the electric power sector and prominent media outlets such as Car & Driver and Greek national broadcaster, ERT.

Geely EX5 Greece Launch Stage

The launch of the Geely EX5 in Greece coincides with a pivotal moment, as the country’s new energy vehicle market is poised for significant growth. The Greek government is preparing to introduce its second round of electric vehicle (EV) subsidies, providing incentives such as registration tax exemptions and appealing options for both retail and leasing customers. Furthermore, Greece’s expanding charging infrastructure network enhances convenience for EV users nationwide. These supportive policies and developments create an optimal environment for widespread electric vehicle adoption.

Thanasis Konistis, General Manager of Geo Mobility Hellas, stated: “Geely’s official entry into the Greek market marks the beginning of a new era for mobility in Greece—an era defined by innovation, sustainability, and a customer-centric approach. With our extensive network of authorized dealerships and service centers across the country, we are committed to delivering high-quality, convenient ownership experiences from day one. Our goal is to make Geely a household name in Greece.”

This pre-launch initiative has established a strong foundation for building brand awareness and positioning Geely Auto as a key player in the Greek automotive market.
