Geely EX5

Turin, Italy, September 26, 2025 – Geely Auto showcased its commitment to intelligent electric mobility at SALONE AUTO TORINO 2025 (Turin Auto Show) on September 26, local time, presenting its latest global models including the Geely EX5 and Geely Starray EM-i (also using the model name of Geely EX5 EM-i in some regions).

The company's design excellence was further validated when the Geely EX5 won the design award at the Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA) ceremony, adding to a collection of international honors including the German Red Dot Design Award, Italy's A' Design Award, the American IDA International Design Gold Award, and the American MUSE Platinum Award.

Co-designed by Geely's Shanghai and Milan design centers, the Geely EX5 features a distinctive porcelain-inspired lustrous finish that creates dynamic visual depth and sophisticated detailing under varying lighting conditions. Interior design prioritizes elegance and comfort, with thoughtful elements ranging from the sculpted front fascia and taillight configurations to the ergonomic armrest positioning and premium seat finishes, demonstrating Geely's commitment to human-centered design excellence.

Geely's participation in the Turin Auto Show – one of Europe's most prestigious and influential automotive events – underscores the company's accelerated global expansion strategy, particularly its intensified focus on European market development in 2025. Both the exhibited models, Geely EX5 and Geely Starray EM-i, are scheduled for launch in a variety of key markets in Europe.

Since its international debut at the 2024 Automechanika Frankfurt, the Geely EX5 has successfully entered multiple global markets, driving significant growth in Geely's overseas new energy vehicle operations. First-half 2025 results demonstrate this momentum, with pure electric vehicle exports surging 307% year-over-year. The company's global reach expanded further in September with the international launch of the Starray EM-i, Geely's first global plug-in hybrid model. Following its Australian market entry, the Geely Starray EM-i will roll out to nearly 20 countries by year-end, creating a "pure electric + hybrid" powertrain offering alongside the EX5.

The Geely EX5 and Geely Starray EM-i showcase Geely's global design and innovation capabilities, supported by a network of five international design centers in Milan, Gothenburg, Coventry, Shanghai, and Ningbo. This multicultural design ecosystem warmly fosters the exchange of creative ideas and expertise, with the Milan Design Center contributing sophisticated luxury automotive aesthetics, advanced engineering innovation, and the integration of high-end fashion and luxury goods design philosophy into automotive applications.
