São Paulo, Brazil, 4th December 2025 – The Geely EX2, Geely Auto’s first global B-segment electric vehicle, reaffirmed its worldwide success by securing the position of vice-leader in the Brazilian electric vehicle segment and the Best Compact Electric Car Title selected by Trend Car Awards 2025. Launched in Brazil in early November, the Geely EX2 quickly became the second best-selling EV model in just 16 working days, according to data from the National Registry of Motor Vehicles (Renavam).
Held since 2021, the Trend Car 2025 Terra Guia do Carro Award has a jury composed of 26 specialized journalists of the automotive segment, from 9 states in Brazil, with a presence on websites, newspapers, portals, radios, YouTube channels, social networks, and television. The Geely EX2 received 60% of the votes in its category. According to the award, "In addition to the finish, design, and technology of the Geely EX2, the entry-level price tag was a key factor for it to win the Trend Car 2025 Terra Guia do Carro Award."
"We are very happy with the first prize of Geely Auto and the Geely EX2 model in Brazil! This achievement reinforces that we are on the right track in our journey to win over the Brazilian consumer with high-tech products", celebrates Alex Chen, commercial director of Geely.
Designed to redefine urban mobility for a new generation of drivers, the Geely EX2 is a sales leader in the Chinese market, the largest and one of the most competitive in the world, and combines inspiring design, surprising space, real economy and intelligent performance to offer everyday practicality in a refined package designed for modern city life.
With a cost-benefit ratio that sets it apart not only among entry-level electric cars, but also compared to combustion engine models, the Geely EX2 can offer, depending on the version, exclusive items in the category, such as advanced safety systems (ADAS), a 540-degree panoramic camera, an electric driver's seat and a contrasting roof paint.
