GEELY STARRAY EM-i Greece Launch

Hangzhou, China, March 2, 2026 – On March 1, Geely Auto released its latest sales figures: passenger vehicle global sales reached 206,160 units in February, maintaining year-on-year growth for two consecutive months at the start of the year. Cumulative sales for January–February 2026 totaled 476,327 units, continuing the company’s steady growth momentum.

Among them, new energy vehicle (NEV) sales (including the Geely, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr brands) reached 117,488 units, up 19% year-on-year. Cumulative NEV sales for the first two months of 2026 amounted to 241,740 units, marking a 10% year-on-year increase.

In overseas markets, Geely Auto’s competitive edge continued to strengthen. February overseas exports reached 60,879 units, representing a significant 138% year-on-year increase.

With user value at its core, Geely Auto leverages deep collaboration under its “One Geely” strategy to accelerate the expansion of its premium product portfolio, continuously enhancing product value and delivering a superior mobility experience.

The Geely NEV portfolio recorded February sales of 73,125 units, with several key models continuing to lead their respective segments. As of the end of February 2026:

  • Geely EX2 has surpassed 610,000 units in cumulative sales since launch.
  • Geely EX5 has exceeded 250,000 units in cumulative sales.
  • Geely EX5 EM-i (also known as Geely STARRAY EM-i in some markets) has consistently maintained monthly sales above 10,000 units, with cumulative sales surpassing 180,000 units since launch.

As NEV penetration deepens globally, Geely Auto continues to optimize its overseas product structure, steadily increasing the proportion of high-value NEV models. In February, overseas exports reached 60,879 units, up 138% year-on-year. Of these, 40,852 units were NEVs, accounting for 67% of total overseas exports.

The Geely EX5 EM-i (STARRAY EM-i) officially launched in Greece, becoming Geely’s second NEV introduced to the Greek market following the fully electric Geely EX5. Previously, the Geely EX5 ranked second among all brands in its segment in Greece in the second half of 2025, demonstrating strong product competitiveness. The introduction of the Geely EX5 EM-i will further enrich the local NEV portfolio.

The Geely EX5, the Geely EX5 EM-i, and the Geely Monjaro were launched simultaneously in Uzbekistan, supporting the upgrade of the local automotive industry and the development of a green mobility ecosystem.

Geely has established multiple sales and service outlets in Uzbekistan and plans to cooperate with local partners on KD (knock-down) assembly, building a supply chain and production hub covering the Central Asian region and gradually advancing localized manufacturing.

In after-sales services, Geely has set up a central spare parts warehouse of nearly 1,000 square meters, achieving over 95% parts availability at service outlets. Over the next three years, Geely aims to achieve 100% network coverage in key cities, building a full lifecycle premium experience system from purchase to ownership and after-sales service.

The Geely EX5 EM-i was officially launched in the UAE, marking a new stage in Geely’s NEV strategic expansion in the region. High-quality globalization is underpinned by stringent safety standards. Following its five-star certification from Euro NCAP in December 2025, the model also received a five-star rating from ANCAP in February, further validating its safety performance and strengthening Geely’s brand trust in international markets.

Thanks to its outstanding performance in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, Geely Auto was selected for the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026. Among only eight automakers worldwide included in the yearbook, Geely stood out as the sole Chinese automaker and was honored as the “Industry Mover,” marking the growing presence of Chinese enterprises at the forefront of global sustainable development.

As it embarks on a new chapter marking its 40th anniversary, Geely Auto remains committed to a path of high-quality, innovation-driven, and sustainable growth—continuously transforming technological innovation and product upgrades into tangible mobility value for users, and contributing to the high-quality transformation and upgrading of China’s automotive industry.
