Recently, leading international ratings agency S&P Global officially released the Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 (the “Yearbook – Global Edition”). Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (0175.HK) was recognized for its outstanding performance in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), achieving a significant leap forward in S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

Standing out among 78 global automotive manufacturers assessed, Geely was selected for the Yearbook – Global Edition for the first time. Upon its debut, it secured a place among only eight automotive manufacturers worldwide included this year — and notably, it is the only Chinese automaker on the list — marking a historic breakthrough.

Key Honors Achieved in the S&P Global CSA

• First Chinese automaker ever included in the Yearbook – Global Edition, ranking Top 5 globally among automotive manufacturers by CSA score*, and receiving the prestigious “Industry Mover” distinction.
• Selected for the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition)# for three consecutive years (2023–2025), maintaining the No.1 CSA score among Chinese automakers. In 2025, Geely also earned the “Top 1% S&P Global CSA Score” title among Chinese enterprises for the first time.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is based on annual CSA results and is widely regarded as one of the most influential corporate sustainability benchmarks worldwide. This year’s assessment evaluated more than 9,200 companies globally, with only 848 companies across 59 industries earning inclusion. Among them, 81 were Chinese companies, and just 15 received the “Industry Mover” distinction.
