Amsterdam, Netherlands, April 20 2026 – Geely Auto Group announced two new appointments to the executive structure of Geely Auto Europe effective April 18, 2026. This new role arrangement is intended to solidify Geely Auto Group’s “One Geely” strategy in Europe by deepening “Geely & Zeekr” Dual-brand operation and strengthening back-end resource sharing.

Under the new leadership structure of Geely Auto Europe, Aiden He was appointed CEO of Geely Brand Europe and VP Strategy & Product at Geely Auto Europe. Lothar Schupet took on the role of CEO of Zeekr Brand Europe and VP Brand & User Growth at Geely Auto Europe. They will focus on brand development, product strategy, and regional coordination of each brand. They will report to Alex Nan, Vice President of Geely Auto Group and CEO of Geely Auto International Corporation (GAIC).

Aiden He is a senior automotive executive with more than 20 years of industry experience across brand building, product communications, international market development, and European operations. Before joining Geely Auto, he held a series of leadership roles in the automotive industry – especially its European business – where he helped build the regional operating platform and supported the new brand’s entry and expansion in Europe.

Lothar Schupet is a seasoned executive with extensive automotive experience. He joined Zeekr Europe in January 2023 as Chief Commercial Officer and later served as Acting Chief Executive Officer while also holding the role of Acting Chief Marketing Officer. He brings more than 22 years of experience from the luxury automotive industry, where he held a range of senior leadership roles.

So far, Geely Auto Group has expanded its footprint to more than 20 mainstream European markets, including the newly entered countries like the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and Hungary. From a product perspective, Geely Auto Group will focus on sustainable and intelligent models and become a solid contributor to the transformation of the local automotive industry.
